<br />
I started with a plain deckled edge white A4 card. I matt & layered a piece of lilac gingham card on to a piece of Papermania "Soothing Heather" textured cardstock. The dogs & the bunting are stamps from Little Claire which I coloured in with promarkers. I added some gems & dies some flowers then finished it off by adding some pearly swirls from creative expressions. Below is my version of an insert which I think finishes it off.<br />

The base card is from Kanban. The backing papers are from Docrafts Papermania Capsule Collection. The dog topper is from the cute puppy collection by Kraftyhands & I mounted on to cream card which I cut with the Spellbinder A2 Filigree Delight die. The sentiment is firstly mounted on to cream card which was cut using Spellbinders Fancy Tags Two & then mounted on to brown card which I cut with Spellbinders Labels Six. The ribbon threader was cut using a Marianne Die so I cut cream card & threaded brown spotty ribbon through it & attached a diamante bone shape charm. I made a feature of the word sister & added some gems.Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05122322487152839005noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1091405015419397648.post-90472528612490074192013-08-27T09:08:00.000-07:002013-09-06T04:04:39.225-07:00Two variations of the same Birthday Card for my friend Diane & Kay<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I used a stepper card from Craftwork Cards. The Lillies are a stamp by Stampendous & coloured in with promarkers. After stamping the Lillies & colouring them in I used Spellbinders Labels Eight to cut them first then layered them on to shimmer textured cardstock which I cut using Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight. The shapes at the side were cut using a die from Spellbinders Moroccan Accents. The flowers are from my stash along with the butterfly, glittered ribbon & pearls. The Happy Birthday is a die cut from Craftwork cards.Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05122322487152839005noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1091405015419397648.post-81271103575116383342013-04-26T03:56:00.001-07:002013-04-26T03:56:35.265-07:00A Birthday card for my friend Lin<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The image & one of the pink papers on this card are from the Pampered Pets range by Docrafts. The dottie paper is something I had in my stash. I used Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Five & Labels Four for matting & layering the shapes. The corners were cut using a die from Spellbinders Parisian Accents. Inside the card I used Labels Four & made a frame just for something different.Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05122322487152839005noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1091405015419397648.post-52742125746217407272013-04-25T14:26:00.000-07:002013-04-25T14:26:12.511-07:00Two Birthday Cards for our friend Ron<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
The embellishments on the first card are pre-cut shapes which you have to make up the shirts & waistcoats. I've mounted them on to card cut with Spellbinders Large & Small Label dies. The colar, tie, watch & cufflinks are peel offs which I stuck on to coloured card then cut round them.<br />
<br />
The beach huts on the other card are stamps from Little Claire then coloured in with promarkers. The looped edge was done using a Martha Stewart punch.Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05122322487152839005noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1091405015419397648.post-19596145510743579762013-04-25T14:05:00.001-07:002013-04-25T14:05:05.370-07:00A Birthday Card for our Sister-in-Law Rachel<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Again another Craftwork card. The embellishment is a cat laying on a bed & the words underneath say "Cushy Number" they are from the Hot Digity Dog range by Docrafts. I've punched out some small daisy flowers & coloured them in with promakers & added little gems to the centres. <br />

The base card made from pure Kraft Card. Cut at a slight angle to resemble a flower pot. I used the Standard Flower Dies from Xcut & cut different sizes then layered them up. I made a square bracket & attached it to the top of the card so I had somewhere to attach the flowers. I embellished the front with a piece of kraft card to make rim of the pot & used some floral washi tape for ribbon & bow. Finished of with the sentiment & a couple of butterflies.Kayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05122322487152839005noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1091405015419397648.post-74332205746118429722012-10-25T02:41:00.000-07:002012-10-25T02:41:17.661-07:00A Birthday Card for my friends daughter "Kelly"<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
